Your Ecological Refuge on Panama's Pacific Coast
Our crystal-clear waters, pristine beaches and rich marine biodiversity await you at Tembladera Eco Fishing Lodge. Located on Panama's stunning Pacific coastline, we offer a unique and unforgettable fishing experience in kayaks. But what makes us truly special is our commitment to environmental preservation.
Sustainable Construction:
Here, we embrace nature and build our lodge based on low environmental impact principles. We use wood from naturally fallen trees in the forest and sand from the beach, ensuring that our ecological footprint is minimal. Each structure has been designed to blend harmoniously with the natural environment, providing authentic contact with the beauty that surrounds us.
Waste treatment system:
Our efforts are not limited to construction. Tembladera Eco Fishing Lodge is equipped with a state-of-the-art biodigester septic tank system, which ensures that all our wastewater is treated responsibly, minimizing any negative impact on the water and the surrounding ecosystem.
Zero Waste:
Our commitment to the environment doesn't stop there. Here, we believe in a cleaner and more sustainable future. All the waste produced at our lodge is managed responsibly. We use the biocomposting process to transform organic waste into rich nutrients for the soil. In addition, any non-organic waste is sent to Panamanian recycling projects, helping to reduce the environmental impact throughout our region.
At Tembladera Eco Fishing Lodge, we offer the perfect combination of fishing adventure and respect for nature. Come and experience the natural beauty of Panama and sustainable kayak fishing in an environment that values the preservation of our planet. Join us for a unique ecological fishing experience in the heart of Panama's Pacific.
HISTORY
discovered Tembladera in 2013. I received an invitation from a new friend to fish in the most remote waters of the Azuero Peninsula, in the most remote place in Panama, a place that even many Panamanians still don't know. After that first time I identified that this really was the ideal place to fish from a kayak. Tembladera is one of the few places in the world where the blue waters of the deep ocean are very close to the coast. It is not necessary to go offshore more than 2 miles to be 500 meters deep, up to 1 thousand meters deep. This is why coastal fish and deep-sea fish such as tuna, sailfish and even marlin are mixed in this place.
But of course, it wasn't just because of the big fish, but because of the large number of sport fish that attracted me to the place. Furthermore, a large amount of marine life that surrounds this environment fascinates everyone who knows them. Turtles, manta rays, whales, whale sharks and a large number of other creatures live in harmony in this well-guarded space on the coast of Panama. And in terrestrial fauna, monkeys, iguanas, a diversity of mammals and a countless variety of insects, it makes us realize that the richness of nature still survives in places less impacted by humans.
Tembladera Eco Fishing is that place I dreamed of having when I discovered the world of sport fishing as a boy, fishing alongside my father. And here I want to welcome people who want to share this wealth with me.
